Susan has over 25 years of experience in winery consumer Direct Marketing, including Wine Club, database marketing, CRM, e-commerce, social media, events and general luxury wine marketing encompassing awareness, conversion and loyalty. In 2012 Susan started WineGlass Marketing.
She holds a B.S. in Communications from Boston University and an A.S. in Viticulture from Napa Valley College. She is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist in Wine/Wine Education with the Society of Wine Educators. She was awarded a DMA (Direct Marketing Association) award for strategic excellence and results for her email campaign launching the first smart phone for Sprint.
Katherine brings to the table over 15 years experience in account and project management. After graduating from The University of Alabama with a degree in Interior Design, Katherine went to work for The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia, holding positions in Store Planning and In-Store Signing. In her spare time she acquired a passion for food and wine, which lead her on an entirely different path. In 2009 Katherine began working with the Local Food movement in Atlanta selling cheese and produce to Atlanta chefs. She made her move to the Napa Valley in 2013 and quickly entered the wine industry, working for Cornerstone Cellars, Chateau Montelena, and most recently as membership coordinator for PlumpJack, CADE, and Odette. She is also a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators.
Louis has over 25 years of experience in the high tech marketplace with experience in computer based training, web development, e-commerce, content management, web hosting, online advertising and virtual reality.
He holds a BS in Biology and minor in Psychology and was fully prepared to get his medical degree at Georgetown University when he realized that his true calling was with computers and the people that use them. He has worked in the technology field with companies like Intuit, Quantum, Wind River, Verio and Leap Motion. In 2004 he founded Godengo (now GTxcel), a company that is focused on helping small and medium sized magazines move their businesses from print to online.
Patrick has over 15 years of experience building websites and content for the web, including design and programming for a diverse list of clients. In 2013, Patrick began working with WineGlass Marketing as a designer and web developer, creating websites and email marketing that reflect each client’s unique brand and vision. Prior to joining WineGlass Marketing, Patrick was a self-taught freelancer. Past clients include OpenTable, Evernote, Fitbit, Worldwise, and many wineries. Patrick has one wife, two children and three cats that give final approval on all his projects.
Keith studied in San Francisco and has 8+ years working as a creative with a focus on web design and development. He has worked at multiple companies ranging from an app development agency, a daily deal platform, an online media network and of course Wineglass Marketing. Throughout his career his focus has been on enhancing the online presence of all clients, large and small. This mindset and a diverse skill-set has led him to be a part of a variety of digital projects while always maintaining brand standards, upgrading the UI/UX and incorporating stunning graphics.
With 25 years experience in graphics and web systems, Eduardo is knowledgeable with content management systems and email marketing. Eduardo began in desktop publishing and graphic design, but then moved to the editorial staff of a long running Wine Country real estate publication, laying out both the print newspaper and transferring content to the publication’s website. Next he moved to digital design in the reprographics industry, first working with architects and designers and then with General Contractors from Sacramento to Las Vegas in aiding them manage their construction plans online.
His first experience in the wine industry was alongside Susan at Treasury Wine Estates as a Web Content Specialist. Five years later, Eduardo was recruited by Chateau Montelena and helped to establish the online business for the winery.
With his combined experience in wine and software, Bill brings unique understanding of the use of technology in winery marketing. Bill Langley has over 15 years of experience in developing marketing software applications including 10 years as a consultant building Flash applications for name brands like Levis, Williams-Sonoma, Sony, and HBO. His last 3 years as a consultant was spent building music streaming apps for Mog.com which was eventually bought by Apple.
In 2013 he decided to explore the wine industry by working in wine hospitality and education. Bill worked for 3 years at Chateau St. Jean as wine educator and tasting room lead at Dry Creek Vineyard before landing at Wine Glass Marketing as a data analyst. Bill is a life long wine enthusiast and has a CSW with the Society of Wine Educators as well a Level III Certificate with WSET.
Dan has over 5 years of experience in the wine industry including website content management, data management, administration best practices and point of sale setup.
Prior to joining WineGlass Marketing, Dan held a position in the support department for 3 years at Vin65. His duties among other things included bug troubleshooting, testing and cross-examining new features being built, hosting group training calls that cover a wide range of topics and leading onsite training conferences with winery staff.
Sara earned her Master of Science in Psychology from Tulane University in 2010. She has 10 years of training and experience in statistics, behavioral research, assessment, and clinical intervention. Sara’s clinical work and research background emphasized the use of data tracking and data-based decision-making. These experiences honed her love of statistics and using data-driven insights with creative problem-solving to meet the needs of her clients. Sara’s background in psychology helps her understand that data is more than just numbers, which in turn allows her to individualize recommendations and solutions.
Natalie is originally from Santa Barbara, CA but feels that she was meant to reside in the Napa Valley. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from University of California, Merced and a diverse professional experience spanning the industries of medical devices, research, higher education administration, and the wine industry.
Her first experience in the wine industry was at Trefethen Family Vineyards, where she ran the front of house, sold wine, and managed wine club will-call shipments. Her experiences there have inspired Natalie to pursue a career in winery business operations. This inspiration brought her to WineGlass Marketing, where she hopes to master the direct marketing skills necessary for wine business success.
As a native Californian, Stephanie grew up along the coastlines of Southern California and received her B.A. from Cal State Long Beach. After a decade of working in cubicles, she became restless, sold her belongings and headed off to Florence, Italy where she taught English and sold Florentine leather in a boutique shop. It was there that she had her “ah-ha moment” with wine. A 1998 Brunello di Montalcino literally changed the course of her life. As her palette and passion for wine developed, she set her sights on Napa for the move back to California. An exciting new career began at Domaine Chandon in 2006 where she worked as an Ambassador of Wine for both Chandon and Newton Vineyard, while gaining a solid foundation in wine education, hospitality, marketing and management. Since then she's had the privilege of spending her days at various premier wineries throughout the valley, while honing her skills in travel writing and photography.
Zach received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2015.
He was offered a position with small vintner in Calistoga, Kenefick Ranch, as their Marketing Manager where he gained experience in general marketing as well as running multiple social media accounts, managing their wine club, distribution, special events, analyzing/optimizing web based data, and ran a collective tasting room that had four vintners.
Already a people person, he is happy to help anyone fix their problem or just catch up with an old friend. He also enjoyed working with Google Analytics to optimize websites and fits right in here at Wineglass Marketing.
