Below is a presentation I finally got around to posting on slideshare. It is a presentation given at the Wine Industry Network conference last December about best practices in data capture for wineries.
For the audience, I was asked to focus on specifics – rather than a general “data capture is good” presentation. My framework is that if a winery can focus on the “touchpoints”, or the interactions, they have with customers, and look at each channel and the opportunities and barriers of each channel, they can come up with a plan specific for their situation.
