Made from a blend of two clones of Cabernet Franc grapes grown on our estate vineyard, this limited production wine has a rich finish of dark plum and blueberry with herbal and vanilla notes.

The wine was aged for 18 months entirely in 2-4 year old French oak barrels.
Crushed into small open top fermenters and cold-soaked for two days, the must was inoculated and fermented on the skins for two weeks to develop full rich flavor and structure.
This wine is a blend of two clones, 622 and VCC (Vieux Chateau Certan), of Cabernet Franc grown at Roblar Estate Vineyard. With the vineyard’s light rocky soil and moderate climate, the grapes develop a wonderful depth of classic Cabernet Franc flavor.
Color is a deep ruby with aromas of red plum, black currant, with notes of violet and peppery spice. The palate is well structured, with rich layers of dark fruit and a long finish.
