The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking for three days to extract rich color, the must fermented on the skins for three weeks to obtain a richly extracted wine.
This wine is made from the intensely flavorful Zinfandel grapes grown in the red soil of our blocks located at the top of Bradford Mountain of Dry Creek Valley.

Vineyard Notes
This Zinfandel is a grown in the thin red soil of Michel-Schlumberger’s small vineyard block at the top of Bradford Mountain overlooking the Dry Creek Valley. Four best barrels were selected for an optimum blend of concentrated dark fruit flavor, well-structured tannin and lush mouthfeel.

Winemaker Notes
The color is a dark ruby with aromas of concentrated blackberry and briar with notes of vanilla and spice. The palate has rich layered blackberry flavors, dense structure, long blackberry finish.

Elegantly textured with rich layers of blackberry, spice and fresh plum. Pairs with grilled pork tenderloin, mushroom tart and roast duck with cherries.
