“And now, with everyone working from home, you don’t have to be in a big city to get big-city talent.” DeMatei continued to explain that Strachan Chun had consulted with the agency for a few months but decided this year to make a move permanently to flesh out the company’s strategy offerings.
“Our clients are now competing with seasoned eCommerce retailers, and we need to be able to suggest proven strategies to widen their target market beyond just people that walk in the tasting room on any given Saturday.”
Strachan Chun is one of several new hires in 2021 to keep the firm competitive and provide leading solutions to its roster of clients. Before moving to Los Angeles, Strachan Chun lived and worked in San Francisco for two decades as a Group Account Director at Chiat Day Advertising, Head of Marketing for Esprit Worldwide, and Revo Sunglasses. At marketing agencies, she worked on mostly consumer products such as Dreyer’s Ice Cream, Reebok, Coca-Cola, and Lucas Arts. Her alcohol experience includes Bushmills and the widely popular California Coolers in the late 1980s.
Originally from Scotland, Strachan Chun graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with merit from Edinburgh University. She will continue to live in San Francisco and commute to Napa.
