Inc. includes the Napa Marketing Agency on the list for the second year in a row.

NAPA, CA – March 16, 2021 – INC. MAGAZINE today revealed that WineGlass Marketing, LLC is No. 247 on its second annual Inc. 5000 Regionals: California list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing California-based private companies. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the California economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent small businesses.
“This list proves the power of companies in California no matter the industry,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The impressive revenues and growth rates prove the insight and diligence of CEOs and that these businesses are here to stay.”

The companies on this list show stunning rates of growth across all industries in California. Between 2017 and 2019, these 250 private companies had an average growth rate of 535 percent, and, in 2019 alone, they employed more than 40,000 people and added nearly $7 billion to the California economy. Companies based in the San Francisco market comprised 21% of the 2021 list, but the North Bay only contributed two. WineGlass Marketing was the only Napa company mentioned.

This is the second mention for WineGlass Marketing, which was included on the 2020 list and moved up 13 spots from No. 250 to No. 237 this year. It’s not surprising, but 2020 turned out to be a competitive year for marketing firms: 18% of all companies on the Inc. 2020 list were Advertising & Marketing agencies.

“What this means is we kept people employed,” says agency President Susan DeMatei. “By communicating with our clients, working within their budgets, tightening our expenses, and getting creative with solutions, we were all able to pull together as a community and fashion a bright outcome out of an otherwise horrible year.”

“I love Napa,” she continued. “It’s important to hire local people and support the area. I will always resist outsourcing offshore or other measures that may look good on paper but ultimately do more harm than good.”
