We were honored to be selected to redesign the website for Gloria Ferrer, one of California’s most iconic sparkling wine houses. With a rich history rooted in Sonoma and a pioneering legacy as the first sparkling wine house in Carneros, Gloria Ferrer needed a digital presence that could match its prestige while engaging today’s modern wine lover.
The new site balances elegance with approachability, reflecting the brand’s heritage and warm hospitality. Built on a flexible WordPress platform with fully integrated e-commerce, the site supports DTC sales, wine club membership, and Tock-powered reservations, all while telling the story of the Ferrer family’s Spanish roots and the estate’s dedication to méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine.
Visitors are invited into the brand through immersive visuals, intuitive navigation, and thoughtfully written content that highlights the winery’s history, sustainability efforts, and visitor experience. Special attention was paid to creating a seamless mobile experience and ensuring that both new and returning customers could easily explore wines, book tastings, and engage with the brand.

We were thrilled to be asked to design and build the website for This Life Wines—a bold new brand by acclaimed singer Norah Jones that celebrates authenticity, adventure, and the beauty of imperfection. Collaborating directly with Norah and her team was a true highlight, and we worked closely to ensure the site reflected her personal vision and the soulful spirit behind the wines.
Built on Shopify, the site features a fully custom design that is vibrant, expressive, and emotionally resonant. It includes robust e-commerce functionality, a brand manifesto, and lifestyle-driven storytelling. The homepage immerses visitors in the brand’s ethos, supported by original copy and rich visuals that lean into movement, texture, and humanity. The “Our Story” and “Wines” pages bring the founders’ voices to life while maintaining a seamless shopping experience across all devices.
Every detail—from the handwritten script font to the intuitive user journey—was designed to feel personal and alive. The result is a site that doesn’t just sell wine; it invites visitors to join a movement. We’re proud to have helped launch this passionate new brand with a digital experience as fresh and fearless as the wine itself.

JL Wood is a family-owned winery in California’s Arroyo Seco region, renowned for crafting affordable, award-winning Chardonnays. The winery emphasizes sustainable practices, sourcing grapes from certified sustainable vineyards and employing eco-friendly farming techniques such as minimal tillage, permanent cover cropping, and using natural predators for pest control. This commitment ensures the production of flavorful and environmentally responsible wines.
In a recent email campaign titled “Falling for Chardonnay,” we highlighted the winery’s diverse Chardonnay offerings, guiding customers to select wines that suit their preferences. The email featured pathways leading to various options:
- Hoo Knew Chardonnay: A reduced-alcohol and lower-calorie option, offering a lighter choice without compromising on taste.
- Classic Chardonnay: A traditional take on the varietal, providing familiar and beloved flavors.
- Premier Chardonnay: An award-winning selection, recognized for its excellence and depth.
- No-Oak Chardonnay: Emphasizing crisp citrus notes, this wine caters to those who prefer a fresher profile.
- Nouveau Chardonnay: Designed to evoke the essence of summer, appealing to those nostalgic for warmer days.
The campaign effectively engaged recipients by personalizing recommendations based on individual tastes, reflecting JL Wood’s dedication to customer satisfaction and their passion for producing high-quality, sustainable wines.

About the 2025 Muse Awards
The 2025 MUSE Creative and Design Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), marked this year’s global competition while celebrating the program’s 10th anniversary milestone. From more than 13,000 submissions, this season’s winners embody innovation, craft, and influence across the creative and design industries.
This year the MUSE Creative and Design Awards not only builds on its momentum but also expands the stage for creative and design excellence, offering a platform where both renowned names and emerging voices find equal footing. This chapter highlights how today’s work continues to set new standards, while shaping a legacy that inspires future generations.
The jury, consisting of over 100 distinguished professionals from 30 countries, brought together diverse expertise to ensure a fair and thorough assessment of the entries. All evaluations were conducted under a blind judging system, ensuring fairness and impartiality. Effectively, each entry was evaluated by multiple judges without being compared to other submissions. In this scenario, every work could only win based on their own merits.
